Whitehorse, the capitol city of the Yukon, is at the top of the Cordillera Region. That means that it is in a very cold part of Canada. The Cordillera Region has both the Rocky and the Mackenzie Mountain Ranges going through it.
There are many species of wildlife spread out throughout the Cordillera. Some of the animals that roam are moose, foxes and bears. People rarely see any moose, but they sometimes see bears in their backyard and the wild while hunting.
